In all our Grovelands Childcare centres our 80 staff are our most valuable asset. As a company, Grovelands Childcare ensures that all staff have access to on-going training whether it be in house or on externally run courses.

Groveland Childcare StaffWe carry out a rigorous recruitment process before employing only those whose vocation is the care of children. We look for individuals who have excellent communication skills so that they can build trusting and open relationship with children and parents. We implement strict working policies, procedures and practices and employ a level of staff that more than complies with staff-child ratios defined in pre-school regulations.

Our centre Managers and Supervisors are all qualified professionals, with substantial experience in their field, we try to recruit our supervisors from within our existing staff members allowing them the opportunity for further development.

Our staff complete regular reports on the children’s development in the key areas of physical, intellectual, linguistic, emotional and social development. Staff communicate with parents and discuss their child’s progress on a regular basis.
Our senior management team comprising of the directors, senior managers and centre managers meet monthly to discuss any operational issues and to plan for the months ahead. All of our early years educators are brought together in their centres on a monthly basis for curriculum and development planning.
