Grovelands Mullingar Now Offering Spaces For 2 years +

Due to demand Grovelands Childcare Mullingar is now offering sessional pre-ECCE spaces for children aged between 2 and 3 years of age. This is a great opportunity for parents to introduce their child to a childcare setting.

Our Mulberry Room is a bright and inviting space for your child to begin their early education journey in Grovelands. With changing facilities and toilet training toilets accessible directly from the room its ideal for children aged 2-3 years. Our qualified and experienced team will be there to guide you and your child as you navigate this new chapter in your childs development. Attending creche can benefit your child in the following ways:

Social Development

Children learn to mix with other children and adults and how to behave in a respectful way with others. They also:

• Have fun and make new friends
• Adjust to being part of a group by sharing, caring for others and working out disagreements

Intellectual Development

Children learn to use their mind by developing ideas, solving problems and

expressing themselves. They also:

• Make choices and learn in a natural way through play
• Develop their imagination and creativity
• Develop pre-maths and pre-reading skills
• Learn about themselves and others; similarities and differences

Emotional Development

Children learn about feelings and emotions. They also:

• Adjust to spending time away from their families
• Develop their independence and self help skills
• Experience a routine and a sense of security from this

Language Development

Children learn to communicate with others using words, phrases, and eventually sentences as their language skills develop. They also:

• Learn how to listen, pre-reading and writing skills
• Use non verbal language in communicating
• Begin to express themselves using words

Grovelands Childcare uses the Child Paths app which gives parents great insight into their childs day including daily photo diaries.

Booking a space

If you are interested in your child attending there are two options:

• 3hr session runs from 9.30am-12.30pm
• 4hr session is available from 9am-1pm.

Spaces are available from a minimum of two set mornings per week.

All places are eligible for the National Childcare Scheme and we would advise all interested parents to apply for their National Childcare Scheme CHICK code. Once in receipt of the CHICK we will be able to inform parents of the cost of their subsidised place. You can apply for this on www.ncs.gov.ie. Our fees are available on our website, parents are asked to bear in mind these fees are before any subsidies have been applied. You can view our fees here
