Fun, Creative & Safe Way to Welcome Children Back

We’ve been busy preparing for the reopening on the 29th June by putting in place a new, fun creative and safe way for children to enter our centres.

With the current restrictions around social distancing and concerns about the idea of taking children from cars, our Director of Operations, Dee Frampton Bushell, came up with the idea of a special entrance for children that limits any physical contact with parents, and worked with Spectrum Signs to make it all come to life.

The design will see children run in through a castle door, while the top half is a full perspex screen so that parents can interact with our staff.

The design is child friendly and safe while also adding an element of fun by giving the impression that the child is entering the centre through a castle door.

This innovation allows our staff to continue to meet and greet families in new reality of Covid-19 and continue communication at the high level that our parents have grown accustomed to.

Speaking about the re-opening and innovation, Dee Frampton Bushell said: “Grovelands Childcare is in the lucky position of having so much space indoors and out so that we can re-open safely. Children will be within their groups with their primary career and all safety procedures will be in place.

“We are beyond delighted with what Spectrum Signs have come up with. The castle design is safe, child friendly and solves the issue of limiting contact with parents.  The design is available in flat pack delivery, available nationwide and literally assembles in less than five minutes. It is better than anything I imagined at the beginning and can be got for single or double doors. We are looking forward to a safe re-opening on the 29th June.”
