Top of the Class!

Top of the Class!

There were celebrations and congratulations all-around at Grovelands Childcare recently as ten of our staff members graduated with top honours from Athlone IT, Carlow IT, National University Ireland Galway and Moate Business College.

The students carried out their work placements in one of our award-winning childcare centres before going on to secure roles as Early Years Educators with us. Our Staff also completed the LINC course and graduated as Inclusion Officers.

Speaking about our graduates, our Operations Director, Dee Frampton Bushell said: “We are delighted to have so many members of our team further their education and we are happy to support them in their goals. Our team continues to enhance their skills with further inhouse and external training and their skills and expertise brings out the best in every child we care for. At Grovelands we foster a culture of continual improvement which has continued through our recent sponsorship of the Early Learning and Care ‘Student of the Year’ at Athlone IT. Congratulations to all our graduates.”

We at Grovelands Childcare support eligible staff in their further education in childcare by making a significant contribution to the cost of their studies.

Grovelands Childcare are dedicated to achieving a high quality of service and an unwavering commitment to Career Development. In addition, as we have seen our business grow over the years with the recent announcement that the company has launched a sixth centre at Millbrook in Monksland, Athlone. Now with a new brand identity and website, we have secured our status as a much loved, progressive family-run business.

The team at Grovelands have successfully led the way for 28 years in the childcare sector and we continue to raise the standard of early learning and care in Ireland. Grovelands provides full daycare, sessional care and school-age childcare. We support the E.C.C.E and National Childcare Scheme.

Led by Regina Bushell, we are also proud to say that we campaign for increased government investment to support the sustainability of the sector and to make childcare more accessible and affordable for parents.
